On the hinterland of Tropical North Queensland lies the Atherton Tableland, renowned worldwide for its majestic tropical rainforests and fertile farmlands.
In this ancient environment, the modern Australian palette is merged with the intense flavours and brilliant colours of indigenous rainforest fruits to create the Rainforest Bounty range of condiments, sure to excite your imagination and impress your guests!Rainforest Bounty is a joint venture value-adding business between two native fruit growers who passionately believe in the sustainable farming of native species as alternative horticultural crops.
The Ngadjon-Jii and Mamu people have enjoyed the sensational flavours and health benefits of these traditional fruits for thousands of years and we acknowledge them as the traditional owners of the lands where we grow our fruit crops.
On our two beautiful properties, we grow and produce value-added condiments that showcase these exquisite Australian native tropical rainforest fruits with a 'modern Australian’ interpretation.
Currently, our sophisticated savoury and sweet condiments are created primarily using Davidson’s plum, lemon aspen, lillypilly and native tamarind species, however we will be producing other native fruit products when additional plantings come online in the next 2-3 years.
Our vision is to share our love for these superb native fruits, together with sharing our passion to protect and enhance the unique natural environment of this World Heritage listed wet tropical ecosystem.
Rainforest Bounty partners are contributing to conservation while we produce healthy food, as our sustainable farming practices maintain the water and soil of our catchments. In addition, by choosing to grow predominantly native species crops and ensuring other areas of our surrounding landscapes are vegetated with endemic native species, we are providing food species and habitat for endangered flora and fauna such as the Southern Cassowary.
